Our First Session.
All services below can be delivered via mobile massage for your convenience.
Initial Consultation (60–90 mins).
We aim to get into the massage as quickly as possible to maximize treatment time. This session includes a comprehensive assessment, posture analysis, and necessary muscle checks. Your session may include stretching and focused therapy work depending on your needs. This allows for a full prognosis and professional advice on stretching and exercise prescription tailored to your requirements.
Follow on sessions:
Sports Massage (60 mins)* - Massage and PNF stretching combined with exercise prescription for rehabilitation and injury recovery.
Deep Tissue Massage (60 mins)* - Intensive massage applied to the whole body or specific areas to release deep-seated tension. No stretching or exercise prescription.
The Ultimate Recovery (120 mins) – 'A Real Luxury' - Two full hours of deep tissue massage designed for total body relaxation and intensive tension release. The gold standard for those needing to fully reset. A perfect way to finish the working week in style.
Express Massage (30 mins) - Focused work on two specific body parts (e.g., back and shoulders or legs and lower back). Deep tissue massage only.
*Note: While standard sessions are 60 minutes, session length may be increased depending on your specific clinical needs or recovery goals; it is not uncommon for sessions to run over.
If you are time-dependent and need to finish by a specific time, please let me know at the start of your session.
Injury Recovery: From Pain to Performance
Recovering from an injury—whether it’s a sudden strain or a nagging chronic ache—requires more than just rest. We use a clinical, evidence-based approach to get you back to the activities you love.
Assessment & Root Cause: I don’t just treat symptoms. We look at your movement patterns to identify why the injury happened, ensuring we address the source rather than just the pain.
Targeted Therapy: Using a combination of Sports Massage, PNF stretching, and soft tissue mobilization, we work to reduce inflammation and restore your natural range of motion.
Rehabilitation & Strength: True recovery happens when the body is strong enough to handle the load again. We provide effective exercise prescriptions and "prehab" advice to prevent the injury from returning.
Performance Maintenance: Once you are pain-free, we transition into maintenance care to manage the daily stresses of training or work, keeping your muscles supple and joints mobile.

"After a career change to a desk job for the past 4 months, my back has been screaming at me. This week I have struggled to go from seated to standing. Paul brought his healing hands to my home and an hour later the pain had reduced significantly and I could function again without pain relief chemicals. Paul also gave me some exercises and stretch routines to try and alleviate any further problems. Professional and discreet throughout, I highly recommend Paul's massage services."

“Having physio with Paul was a lifesaver during a week long tournament. He took the time to get to the root of all my muscle soreness so that I could keep going each day. He also found tension that I didn’t know I had.
The time and skill he took was really appreciated, truly recommend.
Was a star!”

"I’ve had two massage sessions with Paul and felt a massive difference even after one! After breaking my ankle three months ago I’ve struggled to get my mobility and strength back. Paul has been wonderful, massaging my ankle to loosen tightness & reduce my pain. Also giving me exercises and support for in between sessions. I’m excited about my journey back to my normal self 🙂"

"I recently had a sports massage with Paul as I had been suffering with neck and shoulder pain.He was very professional and made me feel at ease taking time to fully understand my needs and identify any areas of tension. It really was just what I needed and I will certainly be booking back in for another session in the near future.
Paul, you’ve got yourself a new regular!!"
Chris
"Paul was patient and extremely thorough in his treatment. When I came to see him initially in February I had extreme tightness in my foot, especially before exercise or after periods of sitting or sleeping. Over the five sessions, he isolated the source of the problem and with massage freed the muscles over the sessions. Some relief was immediate and I'm now back running with zero pain, which was not the case before. Highly recommended."

"Just incredible !! After suffering with some back pain and severe shoulder pain I’d decided to sort it out. Paul is the top man to do the job! Such a great guy, extremely professional and hilarious - always helps when you’re getting an elbow in your back. Would highly recommend!"

Frequently Asked Questions
Sports Massage does not have to be painful.
'Time is the key to comfort'.
The single most asked question by anyone that discovers I'm a Sports Therapist and the answer is "No, it does not, but....."
By scheduling longer sessions, and just like exercise, we can warm up the muscles, making the structures more pliable and willing to accept pressure and stretch reducing pain and discomfort
And here's the 'But...'
Finding and removing tension, trigger points / knots, means that more pressure will have to be applied in a very localised or small area's. With the area pliable and warm, the muscles and structures will take the insult that stimulates the change, a lot easier.
What should I wear for my session?
For the initial assessment, it is best to wear loose-fitting clothing with a pair of shorts underneath and underwear. For the posture analysis, I will ask you to stand in your shorts and if male, topless. If female, in your bra and shorts. The posture analysis will be done from behind with you facing a wall. There is no forward facing interaction.
During all massage treatments, you'll be covered in a large bath towel at all times and when lying face down (prone), if I need to undo your bra, I will ask first. The towel will be over you for the whole session and I will only expose area's I need to massage with dignity at the forefront of all towel positioning.
Please, do not wear a sports bra.
How does a mobile visit work?
I bring everything needed for a professional clinic experience to your home, including a high-quality massage table, fresh linens, and lotion. All I need is a quiet space (roughly 2m x 3m) to set up.
Do I need a Sports Massage if I’m not an athlete?
Absolutely. "Sports" massage is simply a name for a more functional, deep-tissue approach and it
Whether you are a marathon runner or work at a desk, the techniques used are designed to fix muscular issues and improve how you move in daily life.
How many sessions will I need?
This depends on the severity of your injury or tension. Some clients feel a significant difference after one session, while chronic issues may require a short course of treatments.
We will discuss a realistic plan during your initial consultation but it is my job to return you to where you want to be as quickly as possible.
Can I book a 2-hour session for my first visit?
Yes, you can request longer sessions.
The first visit requires a clinical assessment and posture check, usually completed in 60–90 minutes but working to your needs is what therapy is all about.
However, once we have established your prognosis, we can incorporate 2-hour sessions for future bookings at your request.
